Case Management Certification Training

Service Description

This 50-hour Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager (CBHCM) Training is approved by the Florida Certification Board and meets the training requirement for certification. The CBHCM credential is also recognized for billable services by Florida's State Medicaid Plan in s. 394.4573, Florida Statutes. The CBHCM credential is for professionals who provide direct behavioral health case management services to adults or children with serious mental health and substance use disorders, and individuals involved in the child welfare system. The 50-hour training will include: • Engagement and Assessment (initial and ongoing): 9 hours • Service Planning and Development (initial and ongoing): 8 hours • Coordination, Linkage and Monitoring: 13 hours • Documentation: 10 hours • Professional, Legal and Ethical Responsibilities: 10 hours
